Responsible for generating and assessing geological, mineralisation, and grade models for growth scenarios and asset-transformational projects. Brings global, cross-disciplinary geological breadth, strong conceptual thinking across the full range of ore system possibilities and produces fit-for-purpose resource models that inform investment and portfolio decisions. Will work a 5-2 schedule, in a hybrid arrangement with days spent at the Montreal office.

Duties and responsibilities • Review data room information including resource and reserve statements, block models, geological databases, QAQC, mine designs, schedules, costs, and technical reports; • Develop conceptual geological models from aspirational to advanced levels, incorporating full ore system potential across multiple geological scenarios; • Generate fit-for-purpose resource estimations and simulations through advanced geostatistical techniques, calibrated to available data and decision requirements; • Produce high-quality resource models considering financial and strategic impacts on mining and exploration decisions; • Prepare and present geological information and resource estimates to senior management and stakeholders, including Board and Executive Committee; • Conduct comprehensive technical reviews and produce decision-ready reports; • Undertake technical work supporting growth, asset strategic planning, and portfolio scenario development; • Conduct thorough due diligence across technical, geological, and financial aspects; • Assist with data preparation for Board and Executive Committee submissions; • Conduct site visits domestically and internationally as required; • Stay current with advancements in geological modelling and resource estimation; • Work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project teams.

Required qualifications

• Hold a relevant university degree in geology; • Have 20 years’ relevant professional experience in technical, project-related and operational roles; • Experience covering exploration, resource geology and/or mining geology; • Experience with various types of deposits; ability to evaluate unfamiliar mineralisation styles based on fundamental principles; · International and multi-jurisdictional experience; • Bilingual, will be required to collaborate with members of the global Gold Fields team.

Reporting to the senior project engineer, the project-construction technician will be responsible for working on various projects and different requests for engineering services at the Windfall mine. He will contribute his expertise in the various phases of the projects, including: design, preparation of plans and specifications, procurement, monitoring of work in the field, monitoring of execution schedules and their costs. He will also ensure that all rules, safety and environmental standards governing the work are applied. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out the design of technical drawings and the presentation of concepts for various projects;
Ensure the management of the drawing bank, its standardization and its nomenclature;

Your new role:

The Senior Contract Administrator – Construction is responsible for full post-award administration of major equipment supply contracts as well as construction and services contracts for a large capital project operating in an EPCM environment.

The position ensures that all awarded packages—including engineered equipment (fixed and mobile), bulk materials, fabrication packages, installation contracts, and on-site construction works—are administered in accordance with project requirements, commercial terms, legal obligations, technical scopes, and owner governance.

The role acts as the central commercial focal point between the project, service providers, vendors, and construction contractors. It supports cost control, change management, progress validation, claims prevention, and contractual compliance throughout the execution phase.

Key responsibilities:

1. Post-award contract administration

Administer equipment supply and construction contracts from award through close-out
Lead post-award kick-off meetings and establish follow-up protocols
Track contractors’ and suppliers’ deliverables and ensure compliance with contractual terms (warranties, bonds, insurance, etc.)
Review and approve technical submittals and progress reports

2. Oversight of equipment supply contracts

Track engineering submittals, fabrication progress, readiness for FAT testing, and logistics
Coordinate shop inspections with QA/QC and shipping teams
Ensure vendor documentation is completed prior to shipment and manage deviations, NCRs, and warranty matters.

3. Oversight of construction contracts

Work with Construction Management to track progress, productivity, and compliance with scope, HSE standards, and quality requirements
Validate progress milestones and manage field changes, site instructions, and construction deliverables

4. Commercial management and change control

Lead change management for equipment supply and construction contracts
Review and assess change requests, validate progress claims, and coordinate contract amendments with Project Controls and the EPCM team
Ensure data accuracy in the ERP and proactively identify commercial risks

5. Claims prevention and issue resolution

Monitor risks, issue required contractual notices, support negotiations, and maintain defensible documentation to limit claims and disputes

6. Cross-functional coordination

Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction, Quality, Finance, and Legal to ensure contractual alignment
Participate in coordination meetings and commercial reviews

7. Documentation and close-out

Maintain accurate contract records and provide regular commercial performance reports
Ensure document traceability and support contract close-out, release of securities, and warranty follow-up

What you need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or a related field
8 to 10 years of contract administration experience, including significant exposure to equipment supply and construction contracts
Experience on major capital projects in heavy industrial environments (EPC/EPCM)
Strong understanding of technical specifications, manufacturing processes, construction methods, and project execution workflows
Proficiency with SAP, Aconex, EDMS, and project controls systems
Professional certifications (SCMP, NCMA, AGCA, PMP) are considered an asset
Bilingualism required

You will play a key role in the strategic oversight of the construction of the Windfall mining project, currently in the pre-construction phase, delivered under an EPCM execution model. Acting on behalf of the Owner, you will ensure governance, alignment, and overall performance of construction activities carried out by the EPCM contractor and specialty contractors.

Without having direct, first-line site management responsibilities, you will ensure execution is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with the project’s objectives for schedule, cost, quality, and safety. You will contribute to seamless integration across engineering, procurement, and construction functions, while maintaining close communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the owner’s team’s primary representative on the construction site.
Define, together with the EPCM, the overall construction strategies (e.g., sequencing, modularization, prefabrication) and ensure alignment with the project objectives.
Provide governance and oversight of construction activities carried out by the EPCM and contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the owner’s standards
Ensure contractors’ execution plans are coherent, integrated, and aligned with the project’s overall strategy.
Implement and promote a strong health and safety culture on site. Put in place HSE management systems and participate in HSE meetings and audits.
Monitor overall construction performance (progress, productivity, sequencing, interfaces) and challenge the EPCM on variances and recovery plans.
Oversee construction contract administration. Manage claims, changes, and commercial issues. Ensure stakeholders comply with their contractual obligations.
Ensure optimization of resources and execution efficiency through review, analysis, and governance mechanisms.
Ensure effective integration between engineering, procurement, and construction, including oversight of critical interface management.
Identify, assess, and oversee the management of construction-related risks, and ensure the EPCM implements appropriate mitigation measures.
Act as the strategic point of contact for construction matters between the owner, the EPCM, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with quality standards.

Reporting to the Area Manager - Mine, the Senior Engineer, Mine Ventilation & VOD is responsible for the technical leadership and oversight of the entire ventilation engineering scope and the Ventilation on Demand (VOD) system for the Windfall Project. Your key responsibilities:

1. Technical Representation for Detailed Engineering

Provide the technical direction and discipline leadership for ventilation and VOD across the entire Windfall Project, on behalf of the owner’s team.

2. Ventilation Procurement Package Management

Develop technical bid evaluation criteria, lead technical bid evaluations, and recommend awards of ventilation contracts and purchase orders

3. VOD System and Controls

Develop the VOD control philosophy and instrumentation specifications.
Coordinate VOD integration with DCS and communication systems.

4. Commissioning and Handover

Plan and lead commissioning of ventilation systems.
Develop operating and emergency procedures (fire/smoke).
Mentor the junior ventilation engineer on site.
Prepare the handover package to Operations (Operational Readiness Framework).

This person ensures that all systems, equipment, buildings, and documents related to construction and equipment suppliers meet quality standards as well as regulatory and contractual requirements prior to their acceptance, transfer, or commissioning. This role provides independent oversight by Gold Fields of the QA/QC performance of the engineering firms, the EPCM firm, and the contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide guidance on inspection and test plans, and approve inspection and test plans, quality plans, and quality management plans.
Work closely with the EPCM firm in order to:

o Ensure the review and approval of the EPCM firm’s quality program and Quality Surveillance Plan (QSP).

o Lead the review and acceptance of quality deliverables from contractors and suppliers (check sheets, test reports, certificates).

o Monitor and validate the compliance of engineering firms’ and contractors’ work with quality requirements.

o Review and approve non-conformance reports and deviation requests that may affect the long-term reliability of the asset.

o Review turnover packages prior to mechanical completion.

o Participate in or lead on-site quality inspections, hold points, and QA walkthroughs.

Ensure that QA practices comply with current standards, CNESST regulations, and Gold Fields’ internal standards.
Report on quality performance to the Gold Fields project management team.

Under the supervision of the field control engineer, the field control technician will be responsible for daily monitoring of work areas and responding to daily issues recorded in the field control log. Your new role

Reporting to the Engineering Director, the Civil and Structural Discipline Lead will be responsible for validating, approving, and providing technical oversight of systems and infrastructure related to their discipline and implementation during the pre-construction phase of the Windfall mining project. • Solid understanding of structural and civil engineering concepts used in mining infrastructure, including foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, mining roads, basins, retaining walls, and surface forms;

• Expertise in the design and verification of structures associated with mining facilities, in compliance with geotechnical, climatic and operational conditions specific to the sector;

• Excellent knowledge of Canadian and international standards in structural and civil engineering, including those related to seismic resistance, freeze/thaw, mining loads and safety;

• Experience in supervision and technical validation of various infrastructures;
