Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Superintendent, the Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for participating in and directing maintenance work on mobile equipment and certain fixed equipment. He or she will ensure the effective management of maintenance to maximize equipment performance.  Based at the Windfall site, located in the Northern Quebec region, the supervisor will work on a schedule of 15 days on followed by 13 days off (day and night shifts).  

Duties and responsibilities                

•Perform repairs on surface and underground equipment;

•Participate in troubleshooting to improve equipment and maintenance operations;

•Follow up on repairs to mobile equipment and certain fixed equipment;

•Assist in optimizing preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment availability and validate the effectiveness of modifications and maintenance performed;

•Ensure maximum availability of the mobile equipment fleet while adhering to budgets set by management;

•Facilitate communication between departments and equipment suppliers;

•Participate in daily pre-shift meetings;

•Participate in various project-related meetings (clients, suppliers, contractors);

•Document various instructions (installation, troubleshooting, etc.);

•Participate in the installation of new equipment and its integration into the preventive maintenance plan;

•Ensure the prevention and safety of various mobile equipment and enforce guidelines and procedures;

•Diagnose technical issues and make necessary recommendations;

•Supervise subcontractors’ work related to technical maintenance;

•Support the maintenance planner in the operation, management, and improvement of the preventive maintenance program;

•Comply at all times with occupational health and safety and environmental policies and rules, and ensure that staff adhere to these rules;

•Perform any other duties related to the position of mechanical supervisor that are relevant to the success of the project.

Required qualifications

•Hold a college diploma (DEC) in mechanics or an equivalent technical degree, or a vocational diploma (DEP) in mechanics or electromechanics, or have relevant experience in mechanics (5–10 years of experience);

•Experience supervising mobile mechanics (minimum of 5 years of experience);

•Bilingualism (will need to communicate with English-speaking workers) (an asset).

•Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license;

•Hold an explosives license;

•Have successfully completed mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7.

Technical skills

Reporting to the Project Controls Director, you will represent the project controls function on site for all project controls activities during the execution phase of the Windfall Project.  Within an ePCM project delivery model, your role will focus on oversight, validation, integration and governance of project controls activities performed by the EPCM contractor and construction contractors. You will ensure the integrity, consistency and reliability of cost, schedule, progress and forecasting information used to support project execution and management decision-making. Will work out of the Montreal office on a 5-2 schedule, with visits to the Windfall site as needed.

• Act as the on-site Owner’s representative for the Project Controls function during construction execution.
• Independently review, challenge and validate ePCM and contractor project controls deliverables (cost reports, schedules, progress measurement, forecasts and change registers) for accuracy, completeness and traceability to approved baselines.
• Monitor field progress using installed quantities and other objective rules-of-credit (Earned Value where applicable) and assess performance against the approved baseline and Integrated Master Schedule.
• Perform variance and trend analysis (cost, schedule, productivity) to identify deviations, quantify impacts and provide early warning escalation on risks to project objectives.

Relevant du Chef planification et travaillant au sein de l'équipe de contrôle de projet du maître d'ouvrage, le planificateur de projet joue un rôle essentiel dans la planification intégrée, l'ordonnancement et le suivi de l'avancement du projet Windfall à toutes les étapes : ingénierie, approvisionnement et construction. Ce poste constitue une interface clé entre l'équipe du maître d'ouvrage et les équipes de contrôle de projet des ESP/ePCM, garantissant le suivi de l'avancement de bout en bout, l'intégration des échéanciers au calendrier directeur du projet, le suivi des jalons et la remontée rapide des problèmes. Le poste est basé au bureau de Montréal, selon un horaire de 5 jours de travail suivis de 2 jours de repos, avec des déplacements sur le site de Windfall au besoin.

Fonctions et responsabilités

Reporting to the Project Controls Director (and working in close coordination with the Deputy Project Controls Director), the Project Controls Lead – Process Plant acts as the Owner’s functional representative for all project controls activities within the Process Plant area. The role integrates, oversees and validates the project controls activities performed by the ePCM (Engineering Integration, Procurement & Construction Management) and by the Engineering Service Providers (ESPs) assigned to the Process Plant, ensuring the integrity, consistency and reliability of cost, schedule, progress, change and risk information used to support project execution and management decision-making. The role is based at the Montreal project office during the design and planning phase, with periodic travel to the Windfall site (northern Québec) and to ESP / ePCM offices as required.

Tasks and responsibilities                                        

• Act as the Owner’s functional owner of project controls for the Process Plant area and represent the area in all project governance, performance and assurance reviews.
• Independently review, challenge and validate ePCM and ESP project controls deliverables for the area (cost reports, schedules, progress measurement, forecasts and change registers) for accuracy, completeness and traceability to approved baselines.
• Ensure alignment between measured physical progress, costs incurred, commitments and the approved schedule across the detailed engineering, procurement and construction phases of the Process Plant.
• Lead full budget control for the area, including control budget, commitments, incurred costs, forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EAC), and ensure their integration in Contruent (single source of truth).
• Coordinate closely with the Owner’s Cost Lead, Lead Planner, Risk Lead, Estimating Lead and Information Management Lead to ensure consistent integration of cost, schedule and risk data at the overall project level.
• Review and validate cost sheets for procurement and construction packages, including pre-award and post-award cost analyses.
• Actively support change management activities for the area (PCNs / PTNs), assess cost and schedule impacts, and support their integration in Contruent.
• Define, monitor and analyze performance KPIs for the area: cost, schedule, productivity, progress and risk; feed the integrated dashboards on the Owner’s data platform.
• Provide functional oversight to the ePCM and ESP project controls teams assigned to the area, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, quality standards and project reporting requirements.
• Perform variance and trend analysis (cost, schedule, productivity) to identify deviations, quantify impacts and provide early-warning escalation on risks to the area’s objectives.
• Review and validate the area’s Monthly Contract Cost Review, Monthly Purchase Cost Review and Monthly Contract Progress Review, as well as the Monthly ePCM Staffing Plan and Forecast Review applicable to the Process Plant.
• Support the Project Controls Director and Deputy with monthly and quarterly corporate reporting to Gold Fields leadership, ensuring management-review readiness of narratives, KPIs, risks and forecast positions for the area.
• Support the Process Plant Area Manager (Owner) on all cost, schedule, performance and risk matters, and provide day-to-day integrated analysis for decision-making.
• Proactively escalate critical issues to the Process Plant Area Manager and Project Controls Director in accordance with governance thresholds, including recommended mitigation actions.
• Ensure data integrity, auditability and consistency across the area’s cost, schedule, progress and change datasets, including reconciliation with source systems (Contruent, ControlShare Cost, SAP, Primavera P6, Safran, iPas, Aconex).

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, project management or a related discipline; P.Eng. / OIQ membership is an asset.
• Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in project controls on major capital (CAPEX) projects delivered under EPC / EPCM execution models, ideally in mining or metals & minerals processing.
• Proven capability to lead project controls as a functional Area Lead, including baseline governance, change control, progress measurement (installed quantities / Earned Value), cost-schedule integration and disciplined monthly reporting.
• Strong expertise in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, commitments and incurred costs, with hands-on experience managing Estimates at Completion (EAC) for process plant scopes.

Reporting administratively to the Project Controls Director and functionally to the Deputy Project Controls Director and Owner Cost Lead, the Cost Controller is the Owners' Team cost authority for a designated Project Area (Underground Mining, Process Plant, Tailings & Stockpile Facilities, or Non-Process Infrastructure). The role is accountable for the integrity of budget, commitments, incurred costs, accruals, forecasts, and cost change for the assigned Area, and for the integration of these data into Contruent — the project's approved single source of truth for cost control. The Cost Controller provides functional oversight of the ePCM and ESP Cost Controllers operating within the assigned Area, validates and challenges contractor-submitted cost data, leads the Area's cost reviews, and produces decision-grade variance analysis for the Owner Cost Lead and project leadership. The role is a key driver of the Change Management process within the Area and works in close collaboration with Area Planners, Estimators, Risk, Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, and Finance. Tasks and responsibilities                                        

• Develop, maintain and control the baseline control budget for the assigned Area, mapped to the approved Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Project Coding Structure (PCS), and ensure full traceability from estimate to cost reporting.
• Manage the Area's original budget, current budget, and contingency in Contruent (Owner's single source of truth), and ensure alignment with the ePCM-managed scope of work controlled in ControlShare Cost.
• Allocate budget to control accounts and commitment packages, validate sufficient budget availability prior to commitment, and execute budget transfers in accordance with the Change Management Procedure.
• Maintain accurate cost coding and ensure compliance with the project's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
• Validate the scope included in bid packages against the budget allocation prior to award and refer to the responsible Engineer where scope alignment requires clarification.
• Prepare the Package Cost Analysis Sheet for each Purchase Order, construction contract or service contract prior to award, comparing package budget to commitment value and future commitment items.
• Enter and maintain commitments (POs, construction contracts, service contracts, change orders) at the pay-item level in Contruent, and ensure timely recognition of commitments upon award acknowledgement.
• Perform monthly Purchase Cost Reviews with the procurement agent/expeditor, procurement manager, construction manager, package engineer and field engineer to review contract cost status, amendments and potential contract changes.
• Evaluate incurred costs monthly against the cut-off date, using approved/pending invoices, progress billings, progress reports, expediting reports and contractual terms and conditions.
• Capture pre-payments as incurred cost in the cost control system and coordinate with Finance to ensure they are recorded as a separate asset in the accounting records, in accordance with asset capitalisation rules.
• Prepare monthly accruals for goods/services received but not yet invoiced, in line with the Finance Procedure, and transmit to the Owner Finance department per the reporting calendar.
• Produce the incurred cost and cash-out curves for integration into the project dashboard, and reconcile against invoices, payment certificates and contractor cost reports.
• Maintain a continuously updated Forecast / Estimate at Completion (EAC) for the assigned Area, comprising unallocated budget, commitments, potential changes to commitments, trends, and potential scope changes including growth.
• Develop the Forecast Final Cost (FFC) considering labour, materials, schedule and contract impacts, and update forecasts throughout the project life — not solely at month-end.
• Lead the monthly Forecast Review meeting for the Area, analyse variances against current budget and contingency usage, and prepare detailed justifications for the project management team.
• Produce monthly cost reports for the Area covering Budget vs. Commitments vs. Incurred vs. Forecast, with clear variance commentary, S-curves and trend analysis.
• Identify and flag all new trends and changes within the assigned Area, input new items in the Change Register in Contruent, and collect supporting information for review.
• Execute the trend and change process: log items, attend Trend and Change review meetings, support the joint ePCM/Owner decision (accept / reject / develop further), and integrate accepted items into forecasts or as Project Change Notices (PCNs).
• For accepted scope changes against the FID-approved Project Scope of Facilities, prepare PCN documentation, integrate into the forecast, and obtain Owner formal approval in Aconex prior to modifying the Current Budget.
• Assess cost impacts of contractor-submitted change orders, claims and scope changes, providing independent Owners' Team analysis for the Owner Cost Lead and Prime Contract Manager.
• Provide functional oversight of the ePCM Cost Controller and ESP Cost Controllers within the assigned Area, ensuring their work complies with the Cost Management Procedure and Owner standards.
• Review and validate monthly cost reporting submitted by the ePCM and ESPs, and ensure timely and accurate integration into Contruent as the single source of truth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or a related technical or commercial discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Cost Technician (CCT), PMI-PMP, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

Reporting to the Camp Management Superintendent, the Camp and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations across all camp facilities. The role provides ongoing support to the Logistics Advisor to ensure safe and efficient transportation for all employees. Duties and responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities                

• Assist the Mine Project Superintendent in establishing and maintaining a high-quality team capable of meeting the company’s requirements;

• Work with the engineering department to set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and establish priorities for achieving these objectives;

• Work closely with contractor representatives;

Reporting to the senior project engineer, the project-construction technician will be responsible for working on various projects and different requests for engineering services at the Windfall mine. He will contribute his expertise in the various phases of the projects, including: design, preparation of plans and specifications, procurement, monitoring of work in the field, monitoring of execution schedules and their costs. He will also ensure that all rules, safety and environmental standards governing the work are applied. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act at all times as a leader in safety, environment and community relations in order to help achieve the highest standards;

Your new role:

The Senior Contract Administrator – Construction is responsible for full post-award administration of major equipment supply contracts as well as construction and services contracts for a large capital project operating in an EPCM environment.

The position ensures that all awarded packages—including engineered equipment (fixed and mobile), bulk materials, fabrication packages, installation contracts, and on-site construction works—are administered in accordance with project requirements, commercial terms, legal obligations, technical scopes, and owner governance.

The role acts as the central commercial focal point between the project, service providers, vendors, and construction contractors. It supports cost control, change management, progress validation, claims prevention, and contractual compliance throughout the execution phase.

Key responsibilities:

1. Post-award contract administration

• Administer equipment supply and construction contracts from award through close-out
• Lead post-award kick-off meetings and establish follow-up protocols
• Track contractors’ and suppliers’ deliverables and ensure compliance with contractual terms (warranties, bonds, insurance, etc.)
• Review and approve technical submittals and progress reports

2. Oversight of equipment supply contracts

• Track engineering submittals, fabrication progress, readiness for FAT testing, and logistics
• Coordinate shop inspections with QA/QC and shipping teams
• Ensure vendor documentation is completed prior to shipment and manage deviations, NCRs, and warranty matters.

3. Oversight of construction contracts

Reporting to the IT supervisor, the computer technician will serve all Windfall project facilities. He or she will act as an advisor and technical support and ensure the proper functioning of IT equipment.  Based at the Windfall site, located in the Nord-du-Québec region, he or she will be required to work a 15-day work schedule followed by 13 days off. Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities                

• Supervise operators and technicians involved in effluent treatment, as well as the Environmental Specialized Labourer;

• Prevent environmental impacts through worker training, regular inspections, and any other measures implemented by the Company;

• Ensure the proper operation of the effluent treatment system;

• Supervise and/or perform water sampling (potable water, groundwater, ponds, effluent) and soil sampling;

• Review water and soil sampling results and ensure proper filing and recordkeeping;

• Enter sampling data into provincial and federal reporting platforms;

• Manage spill response and ensure reporting to regulatory authorities;

• Ensure the proper operation of the potable water supply system and septic systems;

Your new role

The Procurement Lead is responsible for leading the procurement function of the project, ensuring efficient and compliant processes across sourcing, contracting, and transactional operations. This position manages a multi-disciplinary team and ensures that all procurement activities, including SAP operations, contract management, vendor onboarding, and accounts payable coordination, are executed with high standards and aligned with project and corporate objectives.

Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the Field Geology Technician will assist project managers during exploration work. This work includes diamond drilling, prospecting, mapping, stripping, geophysical activities, and all other related tasks. Work takes place across all Gold Fields properties, and the technician may be based at the Windfall site, in Lebel-sur-Quévillon, or at any other facilities located near the work sites in the Nord-du-Québec region. The technician will primarily work on a schedule of 15 days on, followed by 13 days off. Transportation, lodging, and meals are provided.

Duties and responsibilities                

• Prepare access routes and sites for diamond drilling (marking and cutting trees);

• Set up drilling sites (surveying);

• Conduct environmental monitoring of drilling operations (inspections before, during, and after);

• Supervise various excavation and clearing contractors;

• Assist the geologist in the field and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys;

• Ensure the cleaning and sampling of geological trenches (rock saw) during stripping operations;

• Provide logistical support to the project manager, maintain various equipment, and purchase and manage exploration supplies;

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the warehouse clerk will support the day-to-day operations of the Supply and Logistics Department, particularly by handling the distribution and internal transport of goods. The clerk will also provide logistical support for employee travel outside regular hours, site escorts, and urgent errands. Based at the Windfall site, located in the Northern Quebec region, the position involves working a schedule of 15 days on, followed by 13 days off. Transportation, accommodation, and meals are provided. 

Tasks and responsibilities                                        

• Prepare and deliver internal orders to the various departments on site;

• Handle the internal transport of equipment, parts, and documents;

• Transport employees and visitors off-site;

• Escort certain shipments on-site;

• Keep your work area clean, tidy, and safe;

• Support the warehouse team in their daily tasks;

• Comply at all times with occupational health and safety and environmental policies and regulations;

• Step in to replace the shuttle driver on an ad hoc basis in the event of an absence, to ensure service continuity;

Qualifications

• High school diploma;

Reporting to the Project Director, the Contract Administration Manager – Prime Contract & ESP is responsible for the complete post-award administration and commercial management of Engineering Service Provider (ESP) contracts within a major mining project in an ePCM environment.

This role focuses on ensuring that all engineering services contracts—including detailed engineering, design studies, technical consulting, geotechnical services, environmental services, surveying, project management support, and specialty technical providers—are administered efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with Owner governance, contractual terms, and project execution requirements.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Post-Award Contract Administration  

• Administer the EPCM contract & ESP contracts from award to closeout. 

• Lead post-award kickoff meetings and establish reporting protocols. 

• Track deliverables and ensure compliance with contract terms (warranties, guarantees, securities, insurance). 

• Review and approve submittals and progress reports.

2. Change Management & Commercial Controls

• Lead change management for the EPCM contract & ESP contracts.

3. ESP Performance Oversight & Issue Resolution

• Review and validate ESP invoices for compliance with contract terms, approved hours, milestones, and commercial conditions.

• Resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.

6. Governance, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all ESP activities adhere to internal procurement governance, contract policies, and EPCM standards.

Your new role

Reporting to the Area Manager - Mine, the Senior Engineer, Mine Ventilation & VOD is responsible for the technical leadership and oversight of the entire ventilation engineering scope and the Ventilation on Demand (VOD) system for the Windfall Project. This role manages the cost and schedule and ensures the integration of ventilation with all interfacing disciplines (mine planning, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and operational readiness). It also includes representing Gold Fields with the EPCM firm, coordinating all procurement packages related to underground ventilation, ensuring regulatory compliance (RSSTM/CNESST), and preparing for system commissioning.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Technical Representation for Detailed Engineering

• Provide the technical direction and discipline leadership for ventilation and VOD across the entire Windfall Project, on behalf of the owner’s team.
• Propose, establish and maintain the ventilation engineering standards, design criteria and specifications applicable to the project.
• Approve all ventilation engineering deliverables (basis of design, Ventsim models, trade-off studies, HAZOP outcomes, equipment specifications, IFC drawings) on behalf of Gold Fields.
• Approve specialist consultants, vendors and service providers operating within the ventilation discipline.
• Lead, coach and develop the ventilation engineering team, including the site ventilation engineer and any contracted discipline resources.

2. Ventilation Procurement Package Management

• Define and lead the procurement strategy for all ventilation packages, including main exhaust fans, auxiliary fans, ducting, regulators, VOD hardware, and ventilation raise contractors.
• Develop technical bid evaluation criteria, lead technical bid evaluations, and recommend awards of ventilation contracts and purchase orders

3. VOD System and Controls

• Develop the VOD control philosophy and instrumentation specifications.
• Coordinate VOD integration with DCS and communication systems.

4. Commissioning and Handover

• Plan and lead commissioning of ventilation systems.
• Develop operating and emergency procedures (fire/smoke).
• Mentor the junior ventilation engineer on site.

Reporting to the Mine Geology Superintendent, the Mine Exploration Coordinator actively participates in the development and renewal of mineral resources. In this capacity, he or she is responsible for generating and classifying exploration targets, planning and organizing drilling campaigns near the Windfall deposit (brownfields), and ensuring the technical coordination of exploratory drilling work in order to achieve the Company's objectives. He or she also contributes to the development of the medium- and long-term strategic plan, the company's business plan, and the annual budget. The incumbent coordinates the implementation of exploration work within the mining exploration division of the Windfall site, in collaboration with the various technical and operational teams. The incumbent will be required to work a hybrid schedule, teleworking from the Montreal office with regular visits to the Windfall site in the Eeyou East-James Bay region.

Tasks and responsibilities                                        

• Design, plan, and coordinate exploration drilling programs for the development and renewal of resources at the Windfall mining project; 

• Evaluate the potential of exploration targets at the mine and participate in their generation and prioritization;

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager, Project Controls, the Document Control Lead is responsible for the governance, quality, and integrity of all technical and administrative documentation related to the construction project. The incumbent supervises a team of two document control technicians, plans and coordinates departmental activities, and ensures compliance with document standards, approval processes, and schedules.

The role involves close collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction teams, the EPCM firm, and external suppliers to ensure rigorous management of the document lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate two document control technicians.

• Plan workloads, set priorities, and ensure effective task allocation.

• Provide ongoing training to the team on document standards, procedures, and tools.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies within the team.

2. Document Governance & Process Management

• Develop, maintain, and improve project document control procedures, standards, and controls.

Your new role

Reporting to the Risk Management Lead, The Risk Coordinator supports the Risk Management function for the Windfall Project by maintaining the project risk register, coordinating risk workshops, and supporting the preparation of risk reports and dashboards.

This role requires good understanding of project risk principles, attention to detail, and the ability to engage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, mining, environment, procurement, and project controls.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Risk Management Process Support

• Maintain and update the Project Risk Register (threats & opportunities), ensuring accuracy, traceability, and required risk metadata (causes, impacts, ownership, treatments).

• Assist in implementing the Project's Risk Management Framework and ISO 31000 principles at project level.

• Coordinate and facilitate data gathering from functional leads.

• Support the Senior Risk Lead in risk identification, risk screening, and qualitative analysis (likelihood and impact scoring).

• Track the progress of risk treatments/mitigations, follow up with risk owners, and update treatment logs.

2. Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support the planning, scheduling, and documentation of risk workshops, including agendas, pre-reads, and capturing meeting minutes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, Risk Management, or related field.

• 2–4 years’ experience in project risk management, project controls, or major capital projects (mining experience is an asset).

Your new role

The Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing all material-related activities during the execution phase of the project. This includes post-award supplier logistics coordination, transportation planning, warehousing oversight, and site material management.

This role ensures that all equipment, bulk materials, tools, and consumables are delivered safely, on time, within specification, and in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Logistics Planning & Transportation Management

• Develop and oversee domestic and international logistics strategies across all transport modes.

• Ensure compliance with customs, trade, insurance, packaging, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate carriers and logistics partners, including heavy haul and oversized transport planning.

• Approve transportation documentation and control logistics costs in alignment with project budgets and risk plans.

2. Material Management & Inventory Control

• Oversee site warehouse and material management operations, ensuring accurate receiving, inspection, storage, traceability, and preservation.

• Lead and supervise logistics and materials personnel, ensuring alignment with construction priorities.

• Establish processes, KPIs, and performance monitoring tools for logistics and material management.

• Ensure team compliance with project procedures, safety standards, governance requirements, and provide necessary training.

5. Reporting & Data Management

• Maintain accurate delivery schedules, logistics trackers, and materials dashboards.

• Ensure document traceability and audit-ready records within SAP, MMS, Aconex, and EDMS systems.

What you'll need to succeed

Reporting to the General Manager, the Document Management Technician will be responsible for document information between the various stakeholders, firms, contractors, technical staff, etc. He or she will organize and manage all categories of stored documents using rigorous methods. Based in the Montreal office, he will mainly work remotely on a 5-2 schedule, with occasional travel to the Windfall site. Occasional travel may also be required to engineering firms and certain suppliers. 

Duties and responsibilities                                        

•Be the central point of contact for technical documentation management;

•Apply and update the document classification and indexing plan;

•Receive, classify, verify, and transmit engineering and supplier documents;

•Manage document records related to the retention, accessibility, and secure disposal of documents in accordance with legal standards;

•Implement and update document management system databases;

They will collaborate with various departments to maintain the quality standards of the training provided. The position holder will work a 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at the Windfall site.

Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the Chief Metallurgist is responsible for metallurgy and process functions, overseeing ore processing activities from design to operation. He or she will lead the metallurgy team and be responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of ore processing, concentrator, tonnage, and recovery processes to ensure profitability. The work schedule will consist of five consecutive working days, Monday through Friday, followed by two days off (5/2), in hybrid mode, with frequent visits to the Montreal office during the project planning phase and sporadic visits to the Windfall site. The schedule and work location will be modified during the execution phase to require on-site presence on a 7-7 schedule.

• Participate in the department’s design and development process;

• Offer engineering guidelines for the discipline that will be used in the project;

• Make sure that engineering processes are followed and optimized, and give instructions to services providers on how to follow them;

• Make sure that engineering quality processes are fully implemented;

• Mare sure that design standardization is implemented throughout the project to improve the efficiency of outcomes;

• Oversee the integration of application’s scope in various fields of application;

• Ensure that the engineering discipline is aligned with the requirements of other engineering disciplines;

• Approve all engineering deliverables on behalf of the owner teams and make sure that the design meet site standards and contribute to the achievement of the project objectives;

• Monitor engineering productivity and take appropriate action, including establishing recovery plans;

• Approve specialized suppliers and service providers in the discipline;

• Make sure that technical designs for all disciplines are completed, keeping in mind the optimization of construction, commissioning and operation;

• Manage the cost and schedule for each discipline.

What you need to succeed

• Degree in civil engineering or structural engineering and a minimum of 10 years engineering experience in an industrial environment, including several years in the mining sector, ideally in the construction of isolated or underground environments;

• Solid understanding of structural and civil engineering concepts used in mining infrastructure, including foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, mining roads, basins, retaining walls, and surface forms;

• Expertise in the design and verification of structures associated with mining facilities, in compliance with geotechnical, climatic and operational conditions specific to the sector;

• Excellent knowledge of Canadian and international standards in structural and civil engineering, including those related to seismic resistance, freeze/thaw, mining loads and safety;

• Experience in supervision and technical validation of various infrastructures;

• Strong technical and problem solving skills;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, functions, and service providers;

• Previous exposure to project delivery using the EPCM methodology;

• Bilingualism (French and English);

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across disciplines;

• Analytical skills, independence, rigor, and the ability to handle stress and deadlines;

• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, the Electrical Supervisor will supervise electricians and be responsible for electrical work throughout the mine's operations. He must plan, organize, direct and control the activities of his team. Based at the Windfall site, located in the Nord-du-Québec region, he or she will be called upon to work a schedule of 15 days of work followed by 13 days off. Transportation, lodging and meals provided. 

Duties and responsibilities                

•Ensure that work and installations are carried out safely and comply with applicable Quebec standards, codes and regulations;

•Plan and supervise electrical work at the Windfall site in the exploration ramp and on surface;

•Request supplies and equipment needed for the advancement and maintenance of site infrastructures to ensure smooth operations,

•Organize the schedule of underground and surface electricians;

•Plan the electrical component (labor and equipment) of budgets, schedules and cost tracking;

•Ensure the planning, organization and management of preventive maintenance activities;

•Work closely with electrical engineers;

•Opportunity to work on other company projects;

•Report to your supervisor any situations that may affect the work of your team. Provide suggestions for improvement and innovative ideas to improve the project and maintenance process;

•Comply at all times with occupational health and safety and environmental policies and rules, and ensure that staff comply with these rules; 

•Perform any other tasks related to the Electrical Supervisor position that are relevant to the success of the project.
